SINGAPORE, 18 FEBRUARY 2025 – The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) will host the inaugural Amateur Leagues Awards Night Season 2024 on Friday, 21 February, at 6pm at the SportSG Auditorium (BlackBox). The event will celebrate outstanding individuals from the Singapore Football League (SFL 1 and 2), Women’s Premier League (WPL), and Women’s National League (WNL).
This year marks a historic first for the WNL, with dedicated awards for Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, Golden Boot, Golden Glove and Fairplay Award.
Mattar Sailors, the champions of WNL 2024, lead the category with four nominations, including 18-year-old Nor Adriana Lim, the league’s top scorer with 15 goals, who has been shortlisted for both Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year. The final nominees and winners for the WPL and WNL were selected by a judging panel consisting of head coaches and team captains from the respective leagues, as well as National Women’s Team head coach Karim Bencherifa.
The most outstanding players and coaches from the SFL 1 and SFL 2 will also be recognised, with the final nominees and winners chosen by a panel of head coaches and team captains from those leagues.
The evening will not only honour the best of the 2024 season but also mark the official launch of the 2025 Women’s Premier League season.
