Rajasthan’s unseeded Faisal Qamar showed the door to Tamil Nadu’s fifth-seeded V.M. Ranjeeth 6-4, 6-7 (1), 6-4 and entered the men’s quarterfinal of the Naushad Mather memorial AITA National-ranking tennis tournament at the Regional Sports Centre in Kochi on Wednesday (January 23, 2025).
The women’s fifth seed, Telangana’s Chevika Reddy, also crashed out losing to Karnataka’s unseeded Hridayeshi Pai 3-6, 5-7.
