Chennai: Siemens Healthineers, a global leader in medical technology, presented its latest diagnostic imaging solutions at the 23rd Asian Oceanian Congress of Radiology (AOCR) 2025 in Chennai. The event, organised by the Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry chapter of the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA), served as a premier platform for advancements in imaging technology.
The company unveiled the helium-free MAGNETOM Flow 1.5T MRI, designed to reduce helium usage while leveraging advanced AI features for faster and more precise scans. Another highlight was the SOMATOM Pro.Pulse Dual Source CT scanner, engineered to cater to patients with high heart rates or limited breath-hold capacity, ensuring enhanced user and patient experiences.
Siemens Healthineers also introduced the MULTIX Impact E, a locally manufactured digital X-ray system that combines high-quality imaging with low radiation exposure and is designed specifically for secondary care facilities.
In the ultrasound segment, the company showcased Acuson Maple, a portable and AI-powered solution that meets diverse clinical requirements, alongside Acuson Sequoia, which offers advanced tools for liver and musculoskeletal imaging to enhance diagnostic accuracy.
